You are informed that Second Semester Supplementary and Special examinations for academic year 2015/2016 shall be held from 19th – 24th September, 2016.
Candidates who are expecting to sit for these exams are required to register for the same before 16th September 2016. They shall be no registration after the mentioned date.
Candidates whose exam results are withheld for any reason, must sort their issues with the office concerned before 15th September, 2016 otherwise they will be considered to have absconded hence expelled (Discontinued) from studies.

Cytology is the study of cells, their structures, functions, characteristics and adaptations. THE CELL THEORY The bodies of all living things are made up of cells. Robert Hooke (1665) was the first person to discover a cell from a plant cork. The cells looked like boxes. Other people who studied the structure of cells are Lamark (1809), Detrochet (1824) and Turpin (1826). Schleiden (1838) studied the plant cells and emphasized that the cells are organisms and entire animals and plants are aggregations of these organisms arranged according to the definite laws.
