Your Kindly informed that due to the directives from the TCU, The opening date for the Students has changed and shall be as follows;-
  1. Non degree Programs, (Certificates, Diplomas, Post Graduate, Masters and PhD) shall arrival on Monday 14th September, 2015 and start their registration and Orientation for new academic year on Tuesday 15th September 2015 to Saturday 19th September 2015 and lectures shall Begin on Monday 21st September 2015
 
  1. All Undergraduate students including new first year students shall start registration on Wednesday, 28th October 2015 to Saturday 31st October 2015 and lectures shall begin on 2nd November 2015

 
NB: Graduation day shall be Friday, 13th November, 2015. A list of graduates and mode participation shall be communicated in early October.

Cytology is the study of cells, their structures, functions, characteristics and adaptations. THE CELL THEORY The bodies of all living things are made up of cells. Robert Hooke (1665) was the first person to discover a cell from a plant cork. The cells looked like boxes. Other people who studied the structure of cells are Lamark (1809), Detrochet (1824) and Turpin (1826). Schleiden (1838) studied the plant cells and emphasized that the cells are organisms and entire animals and plants are aggregations of these organisms arranged according to the definite laws.
